**Uplevel your Pets' Diet**

Below are some items we recommend including in your pets' diet for ultimate nourishment!

Our **Uplevel Your Pets' Diet** includes products that our dog customers have had success feeding to dogs of all ages/sizes to boost their health and add to meals on a rotational basis!

  • FISH: Omega-3 Fatty Acids are important in keeping inflammation down in the body and balancing out Omega-6's found in "animal" meat.
  • Salmon Roe is a healthier alternative to fish oil!;
  • Oily Fish Blend is an easy addition to any ground blends meal;
  • Salmon Blend is another simple swap into a ground blends meal.
  • Tuna Bloodline Chips (Dehydrated) are a great snack or break into small pieces to use as a healthy training treat. Tuna Bloodline is high in taurine! Excellent for growing pups and dogs who need a little heart-health boost.
  • Whole Anchovies are a wonderful fishy snack or meal topper! Feed whole or cut up into even tinier pieces for your picky eaters! Great for small dogs, puppies and cats too!
  • FUR: Fiber! Our pets need the fiber for their digestive health. You can provide fiber from fur and feathers, or by including plants (fruits, veggies) in their diets. Often, dogs will prefer fur over veggies. If you can offer both fur and plants, that's the best!
  • Rabbit Ears tend to be a great segway into eating fur for dogs who haven't yet experienced it.
  • Rabbit Hides keep well in a cabinet or pantry and can be fed as a treat or cut up into smaller pieces add added to their meals.
  • Rabbit Feet are fuzzy raw meaty bones - fully consumable. Typically, not a great place to start with feeding fur to a first timer!
  • EGGS: Nature's multivitamin for dogs! Eggs have many vitamins and minerals that aren't as present in meat, bones and organs. We recommend adding raw eggs to meals as often as you think to!
  • Quail eggs are a great way to feed a variety of eggs or an excellent alternative for dogs allergic to chicken.

Adding in whole food supplements  – as you see fit for your pets’ individual needs! We’ve provided some more information on easy-to-include whole food supplements here and here in our blog posts. We suggest adding fruits + veggies to your dog’s meal depending on their individual diet needs. It can be as simple as sharing your cooked veggies or raw cruciferous greens each day with your pet! They need the fiber and the nutrients!

Feeding VARIETY is crucial to balancing your pets' DIY raw diet! Each protein/whole food contains its own nutrient profile. So, feeding a little bit of everything, over the course of time, is how we maintain optimal health for our pets.

If you'd like us to create a monthly sample order for your specific pet's dietary needs, or have multiple pets and wondering how to structure according to everyone's diet needs, we'd love to help! Please schedule your FREE 20 minute consultation here or give us a call.

**PLEASE NOTE: We are not certified in canine nutrition, but we can share our experience with you! We suggest checking out our resources page to get you thinking! We also have a blog where you can learn more. Additionally, our products are geared towards the DIY raw feeder. Our customers formulate their pets diets based on their lifestyle and feeding preferences, along with their own research and understanding of what’s best for their pets. We can help you get started but none of our products are in and of themselves “complete” and “balanced”. Unfortunately, we cannot advise you on mixing kibble with raw. If you’re looking for advice on feeding some dry and some raw, Iwed suggest looking into our resources page and check out Perfectly Rawsome's blog for more info.
